On Monday night while laying in bed I received a call from an out of state phone number. I was hesitant to answer it because I get spam calls all day long. But at 10:30 at night I decided to pick up the phone. The gentleman had an issue with his motorcycle and had a charging issue. I advised him that since he was in Rome ny and I’m in canastota that he should probably call someone a little closer. He agreed and I hung up the phone with him. While laying in bed now thinking how if I was in his shoes and needed help I would want someone to come help me as well. I picked up the phone and texted him. If you don’t find someone then call me back and I’ll come out and get him home . 45 minutes later he calls back and apologized for calling so late but every tow company in the Rome area wound not come out and help him. Here I am at 11:45 pm at night getting out of bed to go assist someone in need. Moral of the story is. If it was an accident or car deer or 911 call any one of them tow companies wound of took them calls but since it was a motorcycle and limited funds. No one would do it. Remember that next time you are stranded on the side of the road and who to call

I’m currently looking for the right candidate to fill the seat of one of our dump trucks. This position is Monday-Friday 6am to 3pm or later . Trucks have manual transmissions and you must know how to shift. A road test will be conducted prior to securing employment. All trucks are legally permitted for 21 ton in nys and you must be able to drive and control the truck when fully loaded. All trucks are dot legal and we don’t cut corners when the trucks need anything. Driver must possess a valid cdl license along with a valid medical card. Glad we where able to assist this gentleman with his disabled boat and get him back to his dock so repairs can be made to the electrical system

This guy is lucky to be alive. He had to make a split second decision and was the right one by driving straight into the ditch while a distracted driver was driving at him head on . The bike can be replaced. Your life can’t .

This has been in the making for the last two months. We removed the twin engines and installed a single engine last year and when we did that it caused an issue towing because the tow line was hitting the new engine cowl . After some 3D scanning of the boat and some back and forth with the design, it was finally brought to life. Shout out to the guys at JPW Structural Contracting out of Syracuse NY, along with the engineer Matt for coming over to take a 3D image of the boat to upload onto his computer,to Shawn for all the precision cuts and the CNC pipe bender to get it ready to final tig weld. I can’t thank them enough. When it comes to steel and metal fabrication. This company is hands down the best at what they do. Matt was the main engineer on the JMA Wireless dome at SU and designed all the steel you see keeping the roof up on the dome. No job too big nor job too small !!!! Off to powder coat then in the water by Tuesday

Today we ventured out to Chaumont bay west of Watertown ny to attempt to recover an atv that went in late in the winter a few months ago. Due to the unsafe ice conditions at the time the decision was made to get it out in the spring. Today we headed up and launched out of the state boat launch. Due to the recent overnight rain that came down I had doubts it was going to happen today . The pin drop I received from where it went in was within 10’ where the machine was. We scanned along side of it from a couple different directions then once we confirmed that was the atv we dropped in the mega 360 imaging to get right over it. Once we located it we marked it with a marker. It was sitting in about 11 foot of water and we were able to hook it on the suspension with a j hook. Once a solid connection was made we pulled up on the rope to get it to the surface then tied it off to the boat. We towed it over to the boat ramp and then pulled it the rest of the way out of the water. Loaded the atv up and boat and headed back to the shop all before noon today.
