It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Howard Dobson, Sr., founder of Dobson Camper Sales.

Howard passed away on September 26, 2026, leaving behind a tremendous legacy—not only in his family, but in the business and the many lives he touched throughout the years.

In 1968, Howard started Dobson Camper Sales with a vision, hard work, and a commitment to serving his customers. What began as a business became a family legacy that has continued for more than five decades.

Howard was more than the founder of Dobson Camper Sales. He was the heart of the business. Even after all these years, he remained actively involved, continuing to work and share his knowledge until earlier this year.

For those who knew Howard, his impact went far beyond selling campers. He built relationships. He worked alongside family and served generations of customers creating a business that has become an important part of the community. His passing marks the end of an extraordinary chapter, but the legacy he built will continue through his family and Dobson Camper Sales.

In honor of Howard, Dobson Camper Sales will be closed Friday and Saturday this week for his funeral services. We sincerely appreciate the understanding, prayers, condolences, and support we have received during this difficult time.

With gratitude,The Dobson Family

Early morning jar prep means you can enjoy fresh honey this weekend!

Our display at Dobson Camper Sales has been restocked! We now have primary spring honey along with our dandelion honey available. Pick up a jar for you (and maybe an extra for your mom) this weekend!

Our bees have been working overtime! Our first batch of honey is now available. Each batch is unique as our bees simply forage the natural flowers that grow on our farm. That being said…this batch appears to have primarily been made from early spring dandelions. It offers a sweet, intensely floral, and slightly earthy flavor profile with a thick golden carmel-like texture.

Pick up a jar and try it today! Our honey is sold at Dobson Camper Sales located at 150 Old US 68.
