The customer tried to fix the car on their own, the symptoms where over heating and leaking recovery bottle, they brought it in to us to look at after they performed the repair. We found the root cause of over heater was a failed thermostat that, when failed, had a piece wash into the water pump and bind the pump up.

I feel bad for this client they were in two other shots Prior to ending up at car shop. This customer has been treated poorly and had a string of poor repairs done on their vehicle. To the point where for us to correct this vehicle would exceed the vehicles value by like four times. In the long run we ended up recommending the client replace the vehicle and pursue the other shops with the bureau. If you don't know how to do the work don't do it. Substandard work is never excusable. Cold solder joints and splices that were not done correctly
