Then I make one pass and my towel comes back a different color. 😅

Now we’re not just wiping off dust. We’re cleaning.

I might need more towels. A brush. A Scrub Ninja. Steam. Compressed air. Whatever it takes to get the buildup out—not just spread it around.

Can a wipe-down be simple? Absolutely. That’s the point of getting on a maintenance schedule every two weeks or once a month. We’re keeping up with it instead of catching up.

But if you wait until the gas light comes on every time, don’t be surprised when you need more than a top-off. 😂

Nothing wrong with needing a deeper clean. Just understand that “a quick wipe” describes what you want, not always what the vehicle needs.

Nothing irritates me more than washing a vehicle, taking one drive, and seeing brake dust all over the wheels again. 😒

Especially when you just spent all that time cleaning them.

That’s why I like coating wheels. Not because they’ll never get dirty. They will. I just want the next cleanup to be easier.

Some people tell you to just “accept what it is.” That’s not how we do things at In N Out Auto Detailing & Protection.

This Subaru came in with significant damage across multiple panels, dents across the hood, roof, and doors, along with light hail damage. Our paintless dent repair (PDR) technician came in and knocked out every accessible dent across the entire vehicle to preserve the factory finish.
However, the passenger rear door presented a different challenge.

Inside that door shell sits an internal side-impact reinforcement bar bonded right against the outer metal skin. When impact damage pushes the sheet metal directly into or behind that intrusion beam, PDR tools cannot safely reach behind the metal to massage the dent out without distorting the panel.

The client was looking for true perfection, not a half-fix or a compromised finish.

Instead of cutting corners or trying to force a repair that would never meet our standards, we sourced a clean replacement door assembly, swapped the shell and hardware, and started with a clean slate.

Now that the replacement door is mounted and aligned, this vehicle moves to the next phase: full surface decontamination, multi-stage paint correction, and long-term protection with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra.
