READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY ANOTHER “CHEAP” COATING

GIVEAWAY FOR AN ASPIRING DETAILER

At In N Out Auto Detailing & Protection, we get hit up all the time by ceramic coating and PPF companies sending free samples. A lot of these coatings are entry‑level and honestly disposable to us now, but to the right young detailer, they could be the start of a real career.

I’m not speaking from YouTube theory. One of my early correction/coating jobs was on a brand new car where the customer wanted tunnel‑wash swirls gone and the orange peel flattened. OEM paint, fresh from the factory. At that time I didn’t have every tool or the years behind the machine to safely chase orange peel in factory clear, and I wasn’t going to burn through just to say I “made it flat.” I did an enhancement, dramatically improved the finish, but I also learned a hard lesson.

We applied a DIY coating that a lot of shops were using back then on that client’s car. I knew what a high spot was, but I didn’t yet know the best way to level them without re‑activating the coating and making it worse. We ended up with a few high spots on three panels. I owned it, brought the car back, fixed it, and then invested in more training so I didn’t have to learn that same lesson twice. That’s when it clicked: some coatings are forgiving, some are not. The true professional coatings we run now are unforgiving, you either install them correctly, or you’re re‑doing the job on your own dime.

That’s why I’m giving these more forgiving coatings away to a beginner. I want someone else to get their “learning lessons” on entry‑level coatings instead of on a client’s boat or luxury car with a 9‑year system they’re not ready for. I also want to find the young detailer who actually thinks about process, safety, and long‑term protection, not just “wash, dry, shiny, send it.”

We talk a lot about things most people never consider: not waxing or correcting in direct sun, how water spots are dried calcium and minerals that etch paint and glass, how soaking an interior and not drying it properly causes browning and stains, and how the wrong soap or cheap chemicals can destroy coatings and finishes over time. We care about proper environments, pH‑balanced products, the right towels and tools, and educating clients on what’s going on their investment.

We bring that same mindset to both automotive and marine. We’re proud to be the only Gtechniq Accredited shop within about 50 miles north of Camden, and one of the few in our region accredited in both automotive and marine protection. Whether it’s a Sea Hunt, Malibu, Hurricane, MasterCraft or a Range Rover, BMW, Mercedes, F‑150, 2500 GMC AT4, Platinum, TRD, daily driver, work truck, or your weekend cars & coffee build, our job is to protect both investments. We use proven coating systems, not untested samples, and we treat every vehicle or vessel like it’s our own.

This giveaway is for the aspiring detailer who wants to learn at that level. I’m going to ask real questions about wash methods, prep, pad and compound choices, oxidation, soft vs hard clear, when to stop correcting, how to explain coatings to customers, and how to maintain them after install. You don’t have to know everything yet, but you do have to care enough to learn.

How to enter:

We’re not picking based on followers. We’re picking based on drive, attitude, and how serious you are about learning the craft the right way. If that sounds like you, or your kid, or someone you know, this might be the opportunity that changes their path.

You love how your Malibu looks on the water. Most people just try to keep it clean… I’m focused on keeping it protected.

I’m applying Gtechniq marine top coat on this boat to shield the finish from sun, hard water, and constant use. That means less oxidation, fewer water spots, and more “new boat” gloss every time you pull up to the dock.

This is for owners who actually use their boats—surf days, family weekends, long runs—not just for show. It makes wash‑downs faster, keeps the color from fading as fast, and helps the boat hold its value instead of looking tired after a couple seasons.

If you’re tired of scrubbing your boat every trip and watching it slowly lose that showroom look, it’s time to put real protection on it. Call In N Out Detailing & Protection and book your marine coating so your boat works less and shines more.

Your vinyl shouldn’t fade, crack, or grow funky mold just because you park outside or leave the boat on the dock.

In this clip I’m laying down Gtechniq 6‑month vinyl protection on trim and seats—car vinyl, boat vinyl, all the marine stuff that usually gets abused.

This coating:
- Keeps vinyl deep, rich instead of chalky and washed‑out.
- Adds UV and stain protection so sun, sunscreen, and spills don’t kill it.
- Helps fight mold and mildew on marine vinyl when it’s sitting in a humid, wet environment.
- Makes it easier to wipe clean, so you’re not scrubbing every weekend.

If your daily driver bakes in the sun, your vinyl seats are starting to look tired, or your boat cushions live on the water, this is for you.

Watch the 20 seconds, see the finish come back, then send me a DM with “VINYL PROTECT” and I’ll get you a quote and a time on the schedule.

Meet our tiniest quality control manager in training 😎🫧

If he says you’re good for ‘just a wash,’ you’re in and out in 15–20 minutes. But if he see 3+ weeks of brake dust and road debris from normal driving and traffic, and Bug splatter, he’s upgrading you to a full decontamination detail and our flagship Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra ceramic coating 🤌

He’s obsessed with clean tires, wheels, and vacuuming his mum’s car… and he cannot stand dirty rides. If he sees your car, he’ll let you know you forgot to book with In N Out Detailing & Protection 🚗✨

In his world, your interior should be so clean it’s basically ceramic coated – Goldfish crumbs slide off, coffee beads up like it’s hydrophobic, and spilled water doesn’t stand a chance 🫧☕

Got kids, snacks, and drive‑thru life happening in the back seat? Bring the family by and let our smallest tech decide if you’re due for ‘just a wash’ or a full interior reset.”

Bring the family by and let our tiniest inspector decide what your vehicle really needs this summer 😄

🙋🏾‍♂️ If your boat detailer isn’t using an accredited Gtechniq Marine system, they’re testing products on your $450k weekend toy.

Most manufacturers build for speed, not a perfect finish. They know the boat is leaving with sanding marks, holograms and gelcoat defects, and they expect a pro detailer to correct it later.

This is why we invest in advanced marine trainings at Gtechniq Works – hands on with real boats, real gelcoat damage, and the same marine coating system we install back home.

At In N Out Detailing & Protection we’re here to correct, protect and maintain your boat:
- Correct factory and dealer‑installed defects in the gelcoat
- Install accredited Gtechniq Marine ceramic systems
- Give you the right products and process to maintain that finish between visits

We’re not just washing your boat. We’re protecting your weekend and your investment.

👉 DM “MARINE” if you want this level of work on your boat in the Carolinas / Camden, SC area.
