🔧 SHOP UPDATE & NEW LOWER OIL CHANGE PRICES! 🔧

Hey everyone! I wanted to give you all a quick update on what’s been going on here at Eric’s Automotive and Mobile!

We’ve officially been operating out of our new shop for a little over a month now, and I want to thank everyone who has supported us, trusted us with their vehicles, and helped spread the word. It’s been a busy learning experience getting everything up and running, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow!

💥 NEW OIL CHANGE PRICING! 💥

I’ve been working with my parts suppliers to bring down costs, and I’m happy to announce that I’m passing some of those savings along to my customers!

🛢️ Conventional Oil Change — $59.99

🛢️ Full Synthetic Oil Change — $64.99

Both services include:
✅ Up to 5 quarts of oil

✅ Standard oil filter replacement

✅ Complimentary Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI)

✅ Photos and documentation of any issues found

Additional charges may apply for vehicles requiring more than 5 quarts of oil or specialty filters.

One thing I take pride in is doing more than simply changing your oil. Every oil change includes a vehicle inspection so I can help catch potential problems before they turn into expensive repairs or leave you stranded.

If I find something that needs attention, I’ll explain it, show you what I’m seeing, and let you decide how you’d like to proceed. No unnecessary repairs and no pressure!

🔧 GENERAL SHOP UPDATE

We’ve had a little bit of everything coming through the doors lately, from routine maintenance and brake jobs to more involved engine diagnostics, suspension repairs, turbocharger replacements, and even some older vehicles that need a little extra attention!

I’m continuing to invest in better tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop capabilities so I can provide more services and get vehicles back on the road as efficiently as possible.

Whether you need a simple oil change, a check engine light diagnosed, or a more involved repair, I’d appreciate the opportunity to earn your business!

🔧 Shop Update! 🔧

Things have been staying busy here at Eric’s Automotive & Small Engine Repair!

We’ve had a good variety of work coming through the doors lately, from diagnostics and routine repairs to some of the more involved jobs. The video is a little look at a couple of the projects we’ve been working through recently, including the VW and Nissan.

We’ve also had several new customers stop in and talk with us about upcoming work, so the schedule is starting to fill out with some interesting projects over the next couple of weeks. Everything from everyday repairs to a few older vehicles that need some attention are headed our way.

It’s been great seeing more people find the new shop and giving us the opportunity to earn their business. We’re still taking appointments, so if you’ve been putting off a repair, have a warning light on, or just need someone to take a look at something, give us a call or send us a message!

🔧 SERVICE RATE UPDATE 🔧

As Eric’s Automotive and Small Engine Repair continues to grow, we’re making a small change to our mobile service pricing.

Effective immediately:

🏪 In-Shop Labor Rate: $90/hr
🛻 Mobile/Service Truck Rate: $135/hr

Our mobile service allows us to bring the shop to you when getting a vehicle or piece of equipment to our location isn’t practical. However, operating the service truck also comes with additional costs including fuel, travel time, vehicle maintenance, and transporting the necessary tools and equipment.

This adjustment also allows us to keep our in-shop labor rate at $90/hr and encourage repairs to be completed at our shop whenever possible, where we have access to all of our equipment and can work more efficiently.

Mobile service isn’t going anywhere! We’ll still be happy to come to you when needed—it will simply be billed at the new mobile rate.

We appreciate everyone who has supported Eric’s Automotive and Small Engine Repair as we continue getting established at our new location. Your business and referrals mean a lot to us!

WE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🔧🎉

After a lot of work getting everything moved in and set up, Eric’s Automotive & Small Engine Repair is officially open for business in California, Missouri!

And our first customer job in the new shop is officially in the books!

We had a 1997 Toyota Tercel come in today for what was expected to be rear brake work and a vibration concern. Once we got the rear drums off and inspected everything, we found the shoes were nearly new, the wheel cylinders had already been replaced, and everything inside looked to be in great shape.

The only issue we found was a loose rear wheel bearing, so while we had everything apart, we cleaned and repacked the bearings, properly set the preload, and sent it back down the road.

I could have replaced a bunch of perfectly good parts, but that’s not how we do business. If it doesn’t need it, I’m not going to sell it to you.

Future brake line and shoe work will be addressed when they’re actually needed.

I’d say that’s a pretty fitting way to kick off the new shop—honest inspections, quality repairs, and only fixing what actually needs fixed.

We’re officially open and taking appointments, so if you need automotive or small engine repair, give us a call!

Shop Update – Eric’s Automotive & Small Engine Repair

With the shop getting ready to open, I’ve been spending some time behind the scenes putting together standardized pricing for some of the most common services I offer.

The goal is simple: make pricing clear, consistent, and easy to understand before the work even starts. I’m building out service packages for things like oil changes, brake jobs, routine maintenance, diagnostics, and other common repairs.

A few of the packages I’ve been working on include:

• Conventional & full synthetic oil change packages with a full vehicle inspection
• Front and rear brake pad & rotor packages
• Preventative maintenance services
• More common repair packages to come

Of course, every vehicle is a little different, so some pricing will vary depending on the vehicle, parts required, and condition of the vehicle.

This is all part of getting Eric’s Automotive & Small Engine Repair ready to serve California and the surrounding Mid-Missouri area with straightforward pricing and quality work.

Opening September 7th! 🔧

I’m looking forward to finally getting moved in and getting to work. Thank you to everybody who has supported the business and helped me get to this point!
