Shop Downtown Calhoun on Saturday, July 18, and you could turn your shopping receipt into Merry Money!

Here’s how it works:
🛍️ Make a purchase at any downtown business during the event
🧾 Bring your receipt to the Downtown Calhoun table
🎟️ Receive a raffle ticket for your chance to win!

We’ll draw one winner every hour at 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, and 2 PM for $25 in Merry Money to spend at a participating downtown business.

So grab your friends, shop your favorite local stores, and don’t forget to save those receipts! You never know when your Christmas in July shopping trip might come with a little extra cheer. 🎄☀️

Santa’s stocking looks a little different this time of year… think summer goodies instead of snow days! 🎁

Grab a Christmas in July Passport at participating downtown businesses or the Downtown Calhoun table, then shop your way through Downtown Calhoun for your chance to win one of three summer-filled prize baskets!

Here’s how to play:
🛍️ Make a purchase at 2 downtown retail businesses (any amount, no minimum purchase required)
☕ Make a purchase at 1 downtown food, beverage, or bakery business
🌱 Make a purchase at the Downtown Calhoun Farmers Market for a bonus giveaway entry!

Get a stamp for each stop, then drop off your completed passport at the designated drop box near the gazebo by 5 PM on Saturday, July 18.

🎁 Three winners will be drawn on Wednesday, July 22!

Prizes include a Stanley Adventure Fast Flow Water Jug (2 gallon), $200 in Merry Money ($100 to downtown food/beverage business and $100 to downtown retail of your choice), plus a stocking full of summer surprises from your favorite Downtown Calhoun businesses. More prize details coming soon!

Join us Saturday, July 18th, from 10:00AM–2:00PM for Christmas in July in Downtown Calhoun!

Our downtown shops are making room for fall, which means big summer clearance deals are waiting for you!

🎫 Passports are back! We will be implementing our beloved passport program (more details and instructions coming soon—stay tuned!) and drawing THREE WINNERS for the big giveaway!

🔔 Jingle Bell Giveaway will commence hourly. Shoppers can present DDA staff/volunteers with a receipt from a July 18th (same day) purchase downtown and receive a raffle ticket. A ticket will be drawn once every hour (11:00AM, 12:00PM, 1:00PM, etc.) and the winner of each drawing receives $25 of “Merry Money” to the participating store/restaurant of their choice. That’s four (4) chances to win!

❄️ We will be hiding five (5) snowballs in select businesses downtown. Each snowball will contain a very, merry surprise!

🎶 A DJ will be on-site downtown keeping the vibes merry and bright (because shopping is more fun with a soundtrack)

📸 A themed photo op will be setup for capturing fun summer memories

🎅🏼 Summer Santa will be taking a break from vacation to hand out frozen treats at the Caboose from 11:00AM-2:00PM 🍦
