Someone recently asked me, “why do you do it?”. This took me a moment to process and to reflect, the conversation furthered “running a shop isn’t for the faint of heart or lack of intelligence, someone can run a damn good business but that doesn’t mean they can run an automotive repair facility.” And with that I thanked them and fully digested why I do it. So here it is.
My dad had a dream—a vision built not from blueprints or boardrooms, but from grease-stained hands, long hours under hoods, and a deep love for engines. He believed that honest, skilled automotive repair could not only keep cars running but build lifelong trust in a community. Years ago, with little more than a toolbox, a workbench, and relentless determination, he opened the doors to his first shop. It wasn’t fancy, but it was built on integrity. Every car he fixed was treated like his own, and every customer was a neighbor, not just a number. I grew up in that garage. I watched, I listened, I learned—not just how to fix cars, but how to care about the people who drive them. Over time, those lessons became my passion, too. Eventually, I took over the business—not to change the dream, but to carry it forward. Today, we’ve grown in size and technology, but the heart of the shop remains the same. Every repair still tells a story, and every customer still deserves the honesty and excellence my dad built this on.
