This isn't what you want to see when you open up a oil filter. Don't put off maintenance it will only cost more in the future. Scheduled maintenance is always cheaper than a engine replacement. Check your owners manual it has a schedule on how often things need checked and/or replaced by age and mileage.

2024 Toyota Tundra with the "Front Active Spoiler" is an interesting one. You basically have to actuate the spoiler from the scantool to get the lower cover off in order to get to the oil filter at the front of the engine.

Bit of a change of pace not having to get the laptop out to program modules for these trucks like the newer stuff requires.

These F150 transmissions have the shortest little dipstick. But they do have one. They need serviced they aren't a "sealed" transmission. 10R80s like this one call for every 60k miles. Certain years have the transmission oil cooler right in the road of taking the pan off.
