It’s a 2003 Indian Chief Vintage, #322, a real Gilroy-built Indian from before the Polaris days. Bikes like this don’t come up for sale often, and this one has been under Johnny’s watch the whole time.

Peak color in the Catskills is about a week out. This is the bike you want to see it from.

The Moto Guzzi Stelvio is Guzzi's modern adventure tourer. It has the 1042cc transverse V-twin, shaft drive, and an upright, all-day riding position built for exactly this kind of riding: 23A through the Clove, Route 42 over to Shandaken, and the dirt roads that connect them. The one on our floor is the PFF Rider Assistance Solution version, with Moto Guzzi's radar-based rider assistance package on board for the long days.
