Today, we awarded our first Merrill's Automotive Scholarship to a very deserving and hard-working student within the Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District.
Our family, and the staff at Merrill’s Automotive, know firsthand that our community and our world needs creative, skilled, hard-working, innovative, and critical thinkers in the trades.
Our recipient embodies all of the criteria that we look for in up and coming professionals that join us in the workforce. From volunteerism in his community, to participation in athletics and extracurricular activities, to outstanding SAT scores, impeccable attendance records, and top marks in not only core classes, but advanced courses as well, we knew that Ethan Quist was our deserving candidate.
We know that skilled mechanics, technicians, and business owners in the automotive industry combine hands-on expertise with problem-solving precision. We are thankful that today's society increasingly values innovation and a solid work ethic in the trades industry---and we appreciate that the automotive industry offers stable careers and the opportunity to make a lasting impact every day.
It is with great pleasure that we celebrate Ethan as he embarks on his career path and next steps in his adult life. We are honored to be a small part of his journey and wish him much success at Ferris State University! Go Ramblers—and Go Bulldogs! Congratulations, Ethan!
