Looking for a weekend driver and possibly 2 day a week must have clean drivers license and have towing experience is a must don’t have time to train someone at moment . 1st Winter Storm of the season!! Sending a kind reminder to PLEASE drive carefully if you have to go out!! Even driving slow you can go off the road.. It is a gentle reminder that you put other lives in danger or at risk if the Fire,Police, Rescue or Tow Truck Drivers have to come out to help you.. Please drive slow & steady to make your way home safe!!

Looking for a weekend driver. Experience is preferred however I’m willing to train the right candidate. This position requires driving and operating a service vehicle (i.e., loading/towing vehicles, flat tire changes, lock out, fuel delivery service, etc.). Responding to emergency road service request in a prompt, professional, courteous and safe manner.

You must be able to make sound decisions concerning the prioritization of service, e.g., safety concerns, weather, traffic and policy exceptions. Ability to use a tablet (basic knowledge).

Regularly handle escalated service request, including difficult to tell vehicles, or vehicles located in areas or positions that prevent timely service. Troubleshoot roadside situations and get the vehicle back on the road safely.

Other duties:

Routine truck inspection which includes checking the oil, ensuring all equipment and tools are on the truck prior to your shift.

Occasionally collect money from customers and report problems with vehicle or equipment.

Requirements:

Clean driving record & cell phone
Be on call 24/7 during your scheduled shift
Class C license
Live in or near Standish, Buxton and or Limington
The tow truck will remain with you during your scheduled shift; therefore you must have a parking area available for you to park the tow truck.

Pay is commission based.
