Looking over here, nothing to see but an almost finished, road and off road wrecking machine of awesomeness. That's a lot of words for an opening, but a ton of work to get this beauty here. The team has been hammer down, interior installation is in full swing. Pernell final sanded, fit, and prepped the headliner. The headliner was then trimmed, wrapped and installed, perfection. Rear bucket seats per owners request, with console. Remember this is a fully functional 1986 Suburban..... but driving and acting as a 2022. Duramax, yes please. Build you own square body, you betcha. Hit up the team, and get you one know built. #

1986/2022 Suburban rooooolling right along. Front LED headlights wired in, grille and front end fit and installed. Quarter windows installed. Upholstery work has begun. Seats and console installed, foaming and wrapping the custom made side panels where new panels had to be fabricated. The crew is moving right along. Excited to see this fully capable beast doing her extended road trips soon. #6.6duramax #6.6diesel #

Assembly on the 1986 Suburban/ 2022 Duramax 6.6 4x4 is rolling right along. Upholstery work has begun on the interior, fitting of the seats and console. Quarter windows installed, carpet, harness, trim. On the exterior the grille and LED lights are fit and wired in. Somebody is getting close.....!!! #6.6duramax

Somebody's getting close....!!!!! Final assembly is under way on the beauuuuutifal 1986 Suburban rolling on the 2022 Duramax 6.6 4x4 complete chassis. Creature comforts, check. Vintage look, check. Functional show stopper, check.

Totally custom, one off, and being built to be driven and used ..... miiiiint. Owner wants to be able to haul and camp on those road trips. Assembly coming up next. Jonah is peeling off the tape and going over all of the seam sealer on the underside to ensure this baaad ride will stay dry while putting in the work. Stay tuned for more assembly pics coming up.

One big ol Suburban on one big ol rotisserie. Roof painted and prepped for one beautiful big ol industrial off road roof rack. This Suburban will be driven and used by the owner. Notice the satellite antenna as well. This 2022/1986 Suburban will have all of the modern amenities of a modern 2022 truck. Stay tuned as the crew begins assembly. ( don't worry proper cure and rest time was given for paint) just keeps the gram story going better.

Beauuuuutifal color mixed up by Pernell , comes across as a deep blue laid over silver. Its a stunning deep color, but also moves and flops across the big ol Suburban magnificently. More color and paint pics coming up! Any name suggestions for this one of a kind color? Unfortunately this Suburban has found it's forever home already, but we can gladly build another. We have another southern square body on site ready to go.

1986 Suburban camera roll catch up week coming up. Suburban ( spoiler alert) is already 90 percent painted. ( bummer alert) Suburban is 100 percent sold and going to it's new home at completion. Some final shots of all the prep work before color was shot. Then comes all the fun transformation pictures. Don't worry, we can gladly build you another square body on a diesel or gas frame, whatever your garage desires! #

30th annual cruise-a-palooza downtown Butler. Stop on down, meet the crew, check out another few of the builds we brought. 1972 C-10 with a supercharged 5.3. Our 1940 Pontiac on an LS3 Corvette chassis with a Whipple Supercharger. Both were custom paint colors we mixed in house. Looking forward to seeing everyone, quite a few cool rides here on display.
