📍 Position Details
• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends
• All major holidays off
• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:
✔ Assisting customers with licensing and motor vehicle transactions
✔ Processing paperwork and payments accurately
✔ Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
✔ Maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Qualifications:
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Dependable and punctual

With the closure of the county offices the Butler License Office will be following suit to ensure all employees make it home safely before the storm arrives. We will reopen on Monday at 8:30 am.

At the risk of activating the mob with pitch forks and torches 🔥 😅

At this time, our computers have become disconnected from the state servers. Our IT team has been notified, has prioritized the situation, and is dispatching a technician as soon as possible to restore connectivity.

The office will remain open today; however, there will be a delay in our ability to process transactions until systems are fully restored.

We appreciate your patience as we continue working through the aftermath of the recent line damage.

We are pleased to inform you that our internet and phone services have been fully restored. Our office will resume normal business operations on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Office Closure Update

We are currently still without internet and phone service. Our service ticket from Friday was closed due to a reported area outage; however, this did not account for a line that was accidentally cut. We are actively working with the provider to resolve the issue.

At this time, we will need to close the office again today, as we are unable to process transactions without internet access.

Nearby offices that are open today include Harrisonville, Belton, Clinton, and Nevada.
