European vehicles need love too. 🔧🇪🇺

This Saab came into 414 Autosports needing several repairs to get it back in shape. We replaced the radiator, power steering pressure hose, repaired a ruptured vacuum hose, and finished it off with an oil change.

Smoke coming from the valve cover? 💨

This is what excessive piston ring blow-by can look like. Combustion pressure is getting past the rings and into the crankcase, pushing smoke/vapor out through the valve cover.

Sometimes the engine tells you exactly what’s going on—you just have to know what you’re looking at. 🔧

When I couldn’t find a set of seats that would fit the Datsun 1200, I decided to build the interior around what I could find.

I measured the car, found a set of seats that would fit, and then took it a step further by matching the rear seat upholstery to the front. Black leather with the plaid inserts gives the whole interior a cohesive look instead of feeling like a collection of random parts.

It’s the little details and problem-solving that make a build come together. The Datsun is slowly becoming the vision I had in mind. 🔥

Two builds. One vision. One in 1/10 scale. 🏁

The goal was never just to build an RC car—it was to create a scale mirror of the real 240Z, right down to the stance, fitment, and overall vision.

Now the 1/10 version is built. Next comes bringing that vision to life on the full-size car.

Now we’re down to the final step — getting that notorious hydraulic convertible top working again.

When the coilovers were installed wrong… we had to fix it. 🔧

Corrected the ride height, fitment, and preload and properly set everything up from the ground up.

A coilover install is more than just bolting them onto the car. The setup matters.
