Happy New Year, everyone!
Thank you for allowing us to serve you through 2025, and we hope to continue to do so this year.
We hope you are all enjoying the holidays and spending time with family, as we have been.
Academic has made the decision to stay closed tomorrow, Friday the 2nd to spend an extra day regrouping for '26. We will start strong again on Monday!

NOTICE: Due to the extreme heat, we will be moving our hours up by one hour for the remainder of the week.
Hours will remain normal 9-6 today, Monday 6/23
TUESDAY 6/24 THRU FRIDAY 6/27 WE WILL OPERATE FROM 8-5

We want to let everyone know that we currently have openings in the schedule, including over the next few days.

As most of you know, our scheduling is often multiple weeks out - especially over the last year or so.
If you need repairs or maintenance done, this is a great time to get your car in quickly!

Hello, everyone! We want to thank you for your continued business and patience through these extremely busy times.

We are in search of an additional Technician to help us maintain our quality of service and decrease the turnaround time for repairs.
If you know anyone who might be interested, please let them know to get in touch with us!
Ideally, we are looking for someone with repair experience and training/education in Automotive Technology, but we will take anyone motivated and professional into consideration.

Happy Friday everyone. Dave and I, Tracey would like to sincerely thank you all. We have been in business for 27 years and going strong and it's all thanks to you, our Great customers. We won the Fav Neighborhood Mechanic for the 7th year running (since they started it, lol). We appreciate you all. Thank you for your kind words, for passing us to people in need, and for your continued business all these years. Please be patient with us during these busy times. We are doing our best to take care of everyone. Please if you have a EMS drop it off and we will tell you the next available day you will be on. We are known to surprise people and possibly get you in earlier, but not disappoint you by saying miss information. We are looking for several mechanics to join our team. Please send them over for an interview if you know someone.

Academic Automotive is an independent repair facility located in Liberty Township, Ohio. Established in 1996, much of our business is with repeat customers from the inception. Because of our dedication to providing quality and accurate repairs, purely word-of-mouth advertisement often has our schedule backed up a week or more.
In order to serve more customers in a timely manner, we are looking to expand our workforce. All experience levels are welcome to apply. Applicants must have a dedication to not only performing all types of automotive repairs but carefully and thoroughly hearing and addressing our customers' concerns. Treating the people who keep our business alive fairly - while providing the best service - is our priority. We are somewhat unique in that our technicians not only fix the cars but also function as service advisors. This model cuts out the middleman – not only ensuring that nothing is lost in communication with the customer but making our job easier with the ability to get critical information right from the source.
