The local Lynch GM Superstore and LDV trace their roots back to 1957, when a father-and-son partnership, John and David Lynch, purchased Humphrey Chevrolet and laid the foundation for a family-driven business. That entrepreneurial spirit carried forward in 1975, when David Lynch partnered with Snap-on Tools in Kenosha and took a chance on stocking G Vans when others in the Milwaukee market would not. That bold decision sparked a long-standing relationship between LDV and Snap-on Tools and helped shape the companyโs future.
Today, Michael, Patrick, and Mary Lynch continue that legacy across their respective organizations. More than 65 years later, Lynch GM Superstore and LDV have grown to employ nearly 400 people in Burlington, guided by a mission to treat employees and customers like family while delivering a quality product, exceptional service, and lasting value.
The Lynch familyโs commitment to Burlington extends well beyond business. Whether supporting local families, championing workforce development, or creating opportunities for future generations, they remain dedicated to strengthening the community they live, work and serve.
