It's snowing in Seattle today, and this 1994 K2500 couldn't care less. ❄️ We've been sitting on this build for a while, and we couldn't be prouder of how it came together.
This GMT400 came to us from a former employee and lifelong Washingtonian who owned it for 25 years. He and our shop foreman kept it mechanically clean, protected the interior, and let the Pacific Northwest do what it does to a truck that lives outside.
The result? A natural patina — hood and roof faded beautifully, side panels holding their color.
We didn't fight it. We finished it. American Collision Burien laid down a stunning clearcoat patina that made the natural fade into a feature. From there, the team went through it stem to stern — fluids, gaskets, electrical, suspension, and a 2" lift. Vision Wheel Cheyenne 17" alloys, BFGoodrich KO3s, new windshield, new headliner, new rear bumper, factory side moldings, and era-correct GM all-weather mats.
The Warn winch, front bull bar, and Hella trail lights from the original owner stayed — all fully functional.
What you're left with is a heavy-half ton, shift-on-the-fly 4x4 with a smooth 5.7, an interior that looks two years old, and a patina that looks like it took 30 years to earn. Because it did.
Exactly the way we dreamt it. 🤙🏽
