Kevin reached out to us a few months back looking to make his experience of owning his Lamborghini Performante more exciting. We did just that sending him out the door with our 1200 spec package while keeping in mind a future higher HP build. Tuned in house by one of the best to ever do it Corbin Johnson we kept the car somewhat tame leaving with 1250hp keeping the stock trans happy.

-BL twin turbo kit, ice box, 68/75 NXT gen PTE turbos

Delivery day

Austin brought us his GT500 last year for a clutch and Motec 150 calibration. After finding a slew of problems, the car is leaving with a new L&M engine, Mantic clutch, VMP ice box with brushless pump, and Motec M150 install. Car laid down 1150hp 938 TRQ tuned by the best in the industry Corbin Johnson.

TX2K recap

Day 1 testing - the cars first pass ever we go 8.4 @160. Second pass we put a little more power in it, but we hurt the transmission around half track coasting to an 8.7@124. We called our freinds from pure drivetrain solutions to let them know what happened, we found a mistake on our behalf. They flew us in new parts, assembled the trans in our trailer Thursday morning and had us ready for Q3 on Friday. Corbin loaded up a soft tune to get us on the board and the car goes a 8.2.

We knew we were gonna be battling the heat on Saturday, so we wanted to make a nice pass Saturday morning to move us up the bracket and the car goes a 7.79@184 mph. Once Corbin, and Mike reviewed ECU/TCU data, we wanted to go for the record next pass. We ran the last qualifier in the heat of the day track temp was 127 degrees and blasted off a record M240 setting number 7.68@182 but we hurt the head gasket around the 1000’ mark taking us out of the competition Sunday. We ended up getting a little loose on the top end because water had gotten under the front tire, but thank god I was able to save it.

This build was done in 3 months and I can tell you my guys put in the hours and work. It would not be possible without every person on my team and we are just getting started. There is a number we have in mind and we will not stop until we hit it.

Shannon trusted us to build him his dream ZR1 and we executed just that. We received his zr1 completely stock and turned it into a 1000hp street monster. This car was calibrated with HPtuners in house by Corbin Johnson laying down 1002HP 863TRQ

We look foward to the next phase of this build where we will be adding a built bottom end, Motec ECU, and a smaller pulley.
