Fabricators and DIY folks, any interest in custom machined spherical bearing spacers for your application or access to parts I have available already? This is just a pic of part of the spreadsheet as I am too cheap to buy Adobe Acrobat until I know this has some legs. But I have a list of all spacers I have machined and the relevant dimensions to install SAE bearings in generally metric applications.

I may have something on hand already you can use but if not, you can probably determine what you might need by looking at the spreadsheet. My prices would be extremely aggressive compared to having something bespoke built from some random shop. It is such a long process to build my ready to bolt on parts that I am looking at some ideas to generate sales with a lot less time and sweat equity invested. Thoughts? Working on a spreadsheet now for all the bearing sleeves I manufacture.

Looking to get some traction on the new year? I have a complete DC/EG spherical front end setup ready to ship out that a customer changed his mind on. Pictured currently with caster offset front LCA/compliance spacers but can come with standard spacers if you prefer. The front UCA mounts are cosmetic blems so I will waive the $70 core charge on those. You can see some evidence of rust pitting in the crossbars from their previous life. Also, the bolt part of the "eyelets" have a radius on one pair and a chamfer on the other pair.

$1300 plus actual shipping cost. ($540 for front LCAs including $70 core charge + $390 for compliance bearings including $40 core charge + $370 for UCA mounts w/free cores.)

Working on getting new online store up but slammed with assembling lots of inventory that came back from plater last week. Have EF front UCA mounts, DC/EG front UCA mounts, DC/EG front LCAs and DC/EG compliance bearings. Technically, I need to install bearings and have retainers welded on compliance bearings but will have soon.

My loss is your gain. Have a pair of DC rear LCAs that I will let go with free core charges and last year's pricing. $600 for the pair. Have a couple of vendors I depend on that are dragging ass so can really use the cash. Save yourself $90 over normal pricing. First DM takes them. Also have a pair of DA rear LCAs available at $580. Pretty little bastards if it isn’t arrogant to say so. After all, Honda made these lovely EF rear lcas and not me. Still need to machine inner/outer bearing spacers so no complete pics. NMB aerospace goodness. Obsessive Kingpin tolerance. Slow process but all bearings are blueprinted to sleeves now. Bearing balls articulate with moderate effort while holding a tiny plastic screwdriver (.12” shaft OD) with just a thumb and forefinger. Not scientific but consistent.

Sorry for crappy pics without enough light. I call these pics “intimidation.” This zinc plating run came back Tuesday. 64 parts, (I shipped 4 out already) most of which have two bearing bores. I will blueprint aerospace bearings to my ideal of perfect stiction in each bore to a tolerance of .0001”-.0002”. That likely makes me insane. But it is one reason my stuff lasts for ~6 years before noticeable wear and noise vs. less than 60 minutes on track. And no, I am not exaggerating. The 😎 guy 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦 companies make nothing in house. It is all 🇨🇳 manufactured with 🇨🇳 bearings. The 😎 guy 🇦🇺 company isn’t much better. They do at least use 🇺🇸 Aurora dirt cheap commercial bearings. We all have a budget and our own view of integrity. Just know what you are buying.
