A quick pre-detail fireup and walk around of the '77 454 Silverado.

For about the last year and a half we have been restoring my grandfather's 77 silverado 454 longbed that he purchased in 1978. I surprised him with the big reveal today. He didn't even know it was running yet.

Among other things the rust was removed and panels repaired, fresh factory paint color, refreshed/new trim, massive interior cleaning and conditioning, original ralleys reconditioned, drivetrain refreshed, and the 454 came out for new bearings, domed pistons, hydraulic rollers, rv cam, billet timing set, new valvetrain, and all components were completely balanced and blueprinted. Sounds great, drives great and I think I made his christmas!

Have the cj5 out at the Wheels Legends Tour Atlanta Lots of incredible rides out here.(edit: and no that big spot on the parking lot is a stain, the jeep isn't leaking.) It kinda cracked me up how many people looked under it looking for the leak due to the unfortunate location of the stain in the slot they told me to park in. haha

Between 6/9/18 and 6/11/18 a 1931 Ford Model A, bearing Georgia tag RJS1155, was stolen from the owner's carport. There are no liens. The actual vehicle is pictured below. The Engine ID ( # A4349776) is stamped on the engine, on the driver’s side of the block. If you locate the vehicle please contact Detective J. Now that the owner, John Fields has seen it. I can post some pictures. The freshly restored 1977 454 longbed Silverado. Due to an unfortunate stuck valve, the 454 will be coming out tomorrow for a full overhaul and upgrade. Making this an even better build. Engine pics will be coming. Stay tuned.
