We cannot reiterate enough how important oil changes and preventive maintenance is. This is a low mile vehicle with the GM Ecotec engine. Premature timing chain failure resulted in metal flakes in the engine oil system. The proper repair is engine replacement. This vehicle was maintained by the customer very well after purchase, but the history was unknown. The GM 4 cylinder engines are know for this failure. Let's try and stay ahead of it folks!!

Chronic ESB and Traction Control light that intermittently would come on and off. Rodent damage and moisture caused a problem with the High side data line circuit as well as the power feed for the dynamics sensor. Wires were repaired and this vehicle is ready to go again!

Another Jasper engine installation. Unfortunately, this one was a warranty unit. Has some lifter noise after about a year of operation. We love working with Jasper products. The warranty replacement was hasle free and arrived within a few work days! 100k mile 3 year warranty, and they stand behind it 100%
