We are in search of a level “A” heavy duty diesel tech to add to our team for dayshift at our Harlem Road location.
The candidate must be able to work autonomously with very little supervision from management, and also be proficient to perform all tasks associated with heavy duty vehicle diagnostics and repair. Must also be willing to mentor and assist junior techs with problem solving and repair procedures on occasion.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment is a must. Range of pay is $36-40(or possibly more) per hour depending on experience. Class B license is required along with NYS inspection certification for groups 1 and 2. Out of area candidates will be given a window to complete their certification with NYS upon hire. Ability to perform minor welding and fabrication is also a plus. Candidate must be willing and able to pass a pre employment drug screen and criminal background check.
