Over the past several years, the U.S. saw propelled interest in outdoor recreation activities, with new boat sales hitting a 13-year high. The National Marine Manufacturers Association reported that more than 310,000 new boats were sold in 2020, with elevated sales through March 2021 up 30%. With a marine battery’s average life span at approximately three to four years, the boating industry is about to experience a significant surge in marine battery replacements.
