Mustang 2 install just about wrapped up on this old Ford pickup. Just have to convert and connect the old steering column to the double d union and connects that to the steering rack, and notch out the frame crossmember to clear the coyote motor.

Love doing chassis mods and cross member upgrades, especially front clips. This old Ford pickup is getting a much improved TCI custom IFS setup! It's basically a mustang 2 cross member with rack and pinion steering, tube upper and lower control arms, disc brake rotors, drop spindles, disc brake calipers, there new heavy duty swaybar with tie rod ends, and this one is going to be setup on adjustable coilovers!!! I smell a pro-touring setup in the making....gotta love it!!! Will be taking a lot of photos and doing a somewhat detailed step by step write up on the install, and will be talking about a couple things that I like to personally add that doesnt come with the kit. This will be my first attempt at doing a how-to write up so there will be short video clips taken along the way as well. This is totally not my thing, but everyone keeps telling me I need to start doing it if I want to keep up....I still don't know who I'm keeping up with,but okay I'll give it a shot!

As some of you might know, or have heard, there was a fire that happened at our shop on Friday evening. The fire actually started at the unit next to ours, and if it weren't for the swift action of Orange County Fire Authority it would have been a lot worse! No one was hurt, and they managed to contain the fire mostly to the one unit. We had a large portion of our roof cut open, and we spent the last two days cleaning up and soaking up water, but it's a hell of a lot better then having to sort through burned, melted, and destroyed tools, equipment, supplies, and vehicles. Unfortunately this is the 2nd time we have had to go through this not being directly responsible for the fire, but we'll keep moving forward like we did last time! Thanks to everyone who has shown concern and has offered to help out. And thank you to our local fire fighters who showed remarkable courage and professionalism in our moment of chaos!
