Burnett Bridge closed due to a fatality. Use alternate routes like Lower Burnett Rd E or A P Tubbs Rd E/Johns Rd E from 162/165.

UPDATE: The bridge is back open.

WSDOT just called, they anticipate the Burnett Bridge to be closed for several hours and will likely not re-open until this evening. They did not give additional information.

Lower Burnett/ Fettig Road is not a great detour route. It is very narrow. If possible use Johns/ Tubbs Road and SR 162.

We had a great time Saturday at the Wilkeson Eagles #1409 Car Show and at the Classy Chassis Car Show in Sumner on Sunday! As a sponsor for these events we had the honor of judging a few categories. We left Sunday’s judging up to our driver Benji who loves the car show scene and got to bring our friend’s Model A Pickup down to the show!

It’s been hot out, but when a little bit of rain falls during or after a heat wave the roads become extremely slick. This is due to oils rising to the surface of the asphalt during the heat and then mixing with the freshly fallen rain causing it to become very slick for a few hours. This customer found out about it the hard way last night as the weather rolled through Bonney Lake. Thankfully he is ok besides some airbag rash. The car however wasn’t so lucky. From the time he called us until the time we were on scene was 6 minutes. Bonney Lake Police Department helped with traffic control and seemed pretty pleased with our hustle. Call us when you need a tow.
