Motorists traveling in Alleghany County should use caution due to storm-related debris on the roadway.
📍 Route 159 – From Barrs Farm to Hematite
🌳 Tree limbs and other debris from today's severe storms have been reported along Route 159, creating hazardous driving conditions.
🚔 The Alleghany County Sheriff's Office and 🚧 VDOT have been notified and are aware of the situation.
Drivers are urged to reduce speed, remain alert, and watch for debris in travel lanes. Use extra caution, especially in areas with limited visibility, standing water, or additional storm-related hazards.
