2011 Jeep Hemi lifter and cam replacement is progressing; the left side head is prepared for installation following the replacement of MDS lifters and non-lifters. Broken bolts were removed and all exhaust manifold bolts were replaced with new gaskets. New head bolts, head gaskets, and matting surface cleaned, and lifters installed. Removed broken manifold bolts, installed new gaskets, valve guide seals replaced, lapped valves. Uphill from here, everything has been coated with engine assembly l**e. Will remove injector fuse and prime high-volume pump to lifters.

I have recently acquired a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7 Hemi, which has been added to my fleet, and it has a common problem: cylinder 6 is experiencing misfiring issues. The previous owner had it inspected by the dealer, and their diagnosis was accurate - the lifter on cylinder 6 failed and is now slightly brushing against the cam. I still need to reassess the cam to determine whether installing a new lifter and reusing it is feasible or if a complete replacement is necessary.

My 2010 F-150 4.6 3V experienced a problematic day, characterized by stalling upon coming to a stop and taking off. I performed all applicable Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and conducted testing, which led to a scan revealing a fuel pump control module circuit issue. Although the prevailing solution involves replacing the fuel pump module, this approach has been ineffective in resolving the issues. Further research via Identifix revealed that the power wire originating from the Engine Control Module (ECM) was shutting down the pump and injectors. Notably, the pump would only operate when forcibly activated through my scan tool. Recognizing an ECM issue, I invested $120 and some change in Motorcraft software, downloaded IDS onto my laptop, and successfully programmed the ECM, thereby resolving the issues.
