BIG NEWS: RAD AIR IS GROWING!

Today, we officially open the doors to our 12th location — Rad Air of East Akron!

Located right across from the Goodyear Tire headquarters, our newest shop has a special story to tell. Formerly the historic Frank May Garage, this shop has served the community across generations of the May family. Now, Sam is taking the wheel as our newest Rad Air franchisee, carrying that legacy of trusted auto care into its next chapter.

Please join us in welcoming Sam to the Rad Air family! A Youngstown State University graduate, data analysis expert, U.S. Marine Corps reservist, and passionate car enthusiast, Sam brings a unique combination of skills and dedication to his new venture.

And we're especially proud that the entire Frank May Garage team is staying on board as Rad Air employees. That means familiar faces, valuable experience, and a commitment to the community from day one.

From a family-owned neighborhood garage to a new chapter with Rad Air, this is what growth is all about: honoring a legacy, investing in people, and keeping communities moving.

Congratulations, Sam, and welcome to the family! Here's to a successful new chapter in East Akron.

💗 Brakes for Breasts: Making a Difference Together 💗

Every October, Rad Air is proud to support Brakes for Breasts, a nonprofit dedicated to funding research for a vaccine to prevent breast cancer.

Last year, our team came together to make a difference, and we're excited to build on that impact this year! Through our participating locations, we're helping support the research that could change lives for generations to come.

Because at Rad Air, taking care of our communities goes beyond car care. ❤️

October is here, and that means our Brakes for Breasts fundraising effort is LIVE!

This month, stop by a participating Rad Air service center for FREE brake pads or shoes with a qualifying brake replacement or repair. 10% of the proceeds will also be donated to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund.

Since 2011, we've helped raise more than $2.4 Million in the fight to eradicate breast cancer, and we're so excited to be a part of this incredible program again.

🎀 October is just around the corner, and that means Brakes for Breasts is almost here! 🎀

At Rad Air, we believe being an independent auto repair shop means being part of something bigger than the cars we fix. It means showing up for our communities and supporting causes that touch the lives of our customers, families, and friends.

That's why we're proud to participate in Brakes for Breasts, a nationwide fundraiser bringing independent auto repair shops together to support breast cancer vaccine research at Cleveland Clinic.

Here's how it works:
🔧 Customers receive FREE brake pads with qualifying brake services (labor and any additional parts are not included).
🎀 Your local participating Rad Air donates 10% of each qualifying brake service to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.
❤️ 100% of the money raised goes directly toward research focused on breast cancer prevention.

What started with just five independent repair shops right here in Ohio has grown into a nationwide movement, raising more than $2.4 million for research since 2011.

Together, let's put the brakes on breast cancer.

At Rad Air Complete Car Care, we do everything we can to make sure your family's vehicles are safe, reliable, and road-ready. But even the best brakes and the newest tires are only as good as the driver behind the wheel.

That’s why we are incredibly proud to support the Tire Rack Street Survival program, hosted by our friends at NeoSCCA!

If you have a teenage driver in your house, this is a must-attend event. It’s a hands-on, one-day defensive driving school where teens use their own vehicles to learn real-world car control.

They will learn:
-How to handle emergency braking (and feel how their ABS actually works!)
-How to control a skid on wet pavement
-How to anticipate hazards and avoid distractions

Our goal is to keep your cars running smoothly, but keeping your kids safe is what matters most.

When: Saturday, October 31st (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Where: Drive Team, Inc. 4445 State Rd. Peninsula, OH
Cost: $175

Spots are limited and fill up fast. Click the link below to invest in your teen's driving confidence and safety!

A radiator problem could have ruined their trip. Instead, it became a story worth sharing.

A traveling couple on their way from Pennsylvania to the Grand Canyon stopped into our Strongsville location after experiencing radiator trouble while on the turnpike. Unfortunately, the repairs couldn't be completed before closing, meaning their truck would have to stay overnight.

Since they were pulling a travel trailer, Mike, the owner/operator of our Strongsville location, offered a simple solution: park the camper in our lot for the night. Then he went a step further and ran power from the shop to the RV so they could stay comfortable with air conditioning and electricity.

The next morning, they were back on the road and headed west. Before leaving, they shared something that made our day: they usually pass right through Ohio, but after the kindness they experienced here, they think it's time to spend more time visiting the Buckeye State.

We're grateful for team members like Mike who remind us that taking care of clients goes beyond repairs.

The summer grill tour rolls on!

Yesterday, Andy fired up the grill at our Seven Hills location to spend some time with the team and show his appreciation for all the hard work they put in every day.

One of Andy’s favorite summer traditions is traveling to each of our stores, cooking lunch for the crew, and getting a chance to catch up with the people who keep Rad Air moving.

Because being a franchise owner isn't just about running a business; it’s about taking care of the people who make that business successful.

Thanks to our Seven Hills team for everything you do! 🍔🌭

Rad Air of Westlake REALLY showed up!

Our Summer Stuff the Bins Food Drive brought out an incredible response from all around the Northeast Ohio area, but this team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Look at all those donations!!! Every item represents someone willing to give a little to help a neighbor in need, and we couldn’t be more proud of the Westlake Rad Air team and everyone who contributed.

A huge THANK YOU to our customers, team members and community for helping us make a real difference right here at home.

This is what being part of the community is all about.

Yesterday, Andy and the Rad Air team brought the summer grill-out to our Akron location!

One of our favorite summer traditions is seeing Andy hit the road and visit every Rad Air store to fire up the grill and spend some time with the people who make this company what it is.

It's more than just lunch; it's a chance to say thank you to our franchised teams for the hard work they put in every day to take care of our customers.

Thanks to the Akron crew for all you do! And thanks to Andy for keeping the grill and the Rad Air family moving all summer long.

🥫 Rad Air of Wickliffe is off to a GREAT start! ❤️

Our Summer Food Drive may have just started, but the first big donation has already arrived at our Wickliffe Rad Air location!

This is exactly what we were hoping to see; our customers and communities coming together to help neighbors in need. Every can, box and bag makes a difference, and we’re excited to see what we can accomplish together over the next two weeks.

Thanks again to for the incredible partnership!
