Here is a great example of why we use a wax-based undercoating product instead of a rubberized undercoating. With a rubberized undercoat, water and moisture can get trapped beneath it and cause rust to form from behind. This truck is a great example. With a wax-based undercoat this can't happen. It doesn't allow moisture to get trapped behind the coating because it does not dry or harden. Our product of choice is PFC by Berkebile Oil Company.
