🛑 “I Think My Brakes Are Missing Something…”

Well… he wasn't wrong.

A customer came in because his brake pedal felt softer than usual and he had to pump it several times to get the vehicle to stop properly.

We took a look and found something you definitely don't want to find:

👉 The brake pad on this side was completely MISSING. 😳

And by then, the damage had already been done.

The rotor was damaged beyond the point where it could be safely resurfaced, and the caliper also needed replacement.

So we:

🔧 Replaced the damaged caliper
🛑 Replaced the damaged rotor
🔧 Installed new brake pads
✅ Got the braking system back in proper working condition

Here's something many people don't know: we don't automatically replace every rotor.

If a rotor is still within specifications and its condition allows it, resurfacing may be an option. We inspect and measure it first.

This one? There wasn't anything left to save. 🤦🏻‍♂️

That suspension noise was trying to tell us something!

This 2018 Cadillac Escalade came in because the customer was hearing an unusual noise from the suspension.

Once we inspected it, we found this badly worn stabilizer/sway bar link. Take a look at the old one next to the new replacement—the bushings had deteriorated enough to allow excessive movement and create noise while driving.

We replaced the worn link and got the Escalade back where it belongs: back on the road and driving properly. 👏
