We had a customer that brough us his car because it was shaking/vibrating a lot around 40mph..
The vehicle would not make any noise but the vibration was there.
We searched under the vehicle and found out the issue. As you can appreciate in this picture, the torn boot side is the inside part attached to the transmission. The almost broken CV axel was the issue. We replaced it, and the issue was resolve.
Important things about your Vehicle's CV axel:
Torn CV Boot
Vibration or Shacking
Leaking Grease
Visible Damage

Over all, replacing a CV Axel is necessary to maintain the drivability, safety and integrity of your vehicle's drivetrain system.

What causes CV Boot damage?⁠
⁠
The most common cause comes with time exposure to the elements. A CV boot can become dry or brittle and crack or tear.⁠
⁠
When a cv boot cracks or tears it will usually leak grease onto the inside of the wheel. A torn boot can also allow dirt, debris, and moisture to enter the CV joint, which will then damage the joint.⁠
