56 Speedway

56 Speedway 1/10th Mile Dirt Track 56 Speedway is a high banked dirt track designed for Kart Racing. This track is geared for fun and family enjoyment.

It is located in Southeastern Minnesota and home to Friday night under the lights racing and fall Saturday events. The track is 1/10th mile in length with 15 degree banking and is 35 feet wide. For Friday night racing: Pits open at 5:30 pm and hot laps at 6:30 pm. Racing starts at 7:00 pm. Saturday start times in the fall are dictated by the weather and will be updated as such. le on race nights. Kart driver fees are $20 ($10 per additional kart) and pit fees are $5. Grandstands outside of pit area are free. Anybody under the age of 18 going in the pits will have to have a minor release form completed by the PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN in order to be allowed in the pits. If the parent or legal guardian are not going to be in attendance the night of the races they can print the form off of the website and have it notarized by a legal notary.

POINTS UPDATE: Want to throw out an apology on not having points posted in Race Pass. This has been a learning experience with the new program, where we thought they were automatically uploaded. Working on getting it corrected and the points configured. Just know that it is being worked on. THANK YOU!

I appreciate the thanks for what we do! Sorry about the late start last night but mother nature sometimes deals us cards we don't know until we start. We got it in, show was good. Thanks to everybody that helped. And thanks to everybody for coming.

The rain has stopped. Sunshine should be coming soon. I'll have the track ready for racing tonight.

Today is Friday August 7th. According to the radar is also rain day again. The rain should be done early afternoon. I will post again between 2:00 and 3:00 letting you know what the status is. Let's hope for the best!

With the heavy rains over the last couple days, current rain, and the forecast for more we are going to have to cancel racing for tonight July 3rd. Let's hope mother nature cooperates for the next scheduled race on July 17th! Hope to see you then.

Make up Features 6/19 plan:

7/3: scheduled show will be completed. After completion we will start running make-up features, running until we are done or by curfew. Whatever doesn't get completed then will be the same scenario next scheduled race 7/17. See everyone next Friday!
