Welcome to Kerry's Synthetic L***s! Kerry's Synthetic L***s humble beginning began with a New 2009 Kawasaki Nomad Cruiser. The relatively large cruiser sported a 1700cc V-Twin and six-speed transmission. On an 85 degree day, sitting at a red light was almost unbearable. So my search began to cool this big V-Twin. A long story short, I found Amsoil-Full Synthetic-10w

40 Motorcycle Oil {designed for wet clutch applications}. The only regret I have is not measuring the temperature before and after. All I can say is the motor ran cooler gauging by my right leg sitting at a red light. About the same time, GM decided to add a Dexsus rating to their engine oil requirements. Amsoil Synthetics had the solution already in a bottle. As you have noticed, Engine Oil ratings are happening continuously! The Great News? Amsoil has answered the call each time. Fact is, I knew about 0W16 two years before Toyota required the specification, and 0W8 is on the horizon!
