Our hearts are shattered. This morning, we lost David Tiedens. Though David was one of our original members, we will remember him as a friend who felt more like family, our Summer Nationals chef (famous for his breakfast sandwich), the best parking assistant, the guy who would literally give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. He helped us keep this show going, despite losing his close friends over the years. We know he's up at a special car show with Doug, Tom, Denny and Jeff tonight. And we are thankful he gave us a beautiful evening to celebrate his time on earth with us.

We're getting ready, are you? See you all tomorrow, 6-8 p.m. at Charles Knaeble VFW 494 Crystal, MN 55429!

A little info, if you're new here:
- For participants, the show is $15 for the entire season, whether you attend 1 show or all 10.
- We welcome any make, any model, any condition. If it's your show car, we want to see it!
- Trophies and door prizes are all awarded by luck of the draw. No need for a show quality vehicle with the Be-Bop Cruisers!
- If your friends want to come walk around, the show is free to spectators.
- On the second Wednesday of the month (tomorrow), the VFW hosts a steak fry dinner 5-7 p.m. Next time, on the 4th Wednesday, it will be a rib dinner 5-8 p.m.
- We have fabulous sponsors: Lucian With Platinum Restoration, Malmborg's Garden Center, Robbinsdale Ace Hardware, The Transmission shop of Brooklyn Park, Minuteman Press Printing and Copying, Mister Misdirect Magic, O'Reilly's in Crystal and Sarah Conn Design.
