Easy install — no tank, rocker, or rocker box cover removal needed. Cut the OEM pushrods to remove them without disassembling the rockers. The threaded adjuster screws into the pushrod, disengages, and slides into place for fast installation and removal. The locknut holds the adjuster firmly once set. Compatible with stock pushrod covers and adjustable for all stock and aftermarket cams.

Tube Covers For use on engines using quick change adjustable pushrods that require more clearance inside the tube covers to adjust. Use with stock inner tubes.

Sometimes it’s the hidden things you can’t see on used bikes.

Customer recently purchased a Softail, after his first time filling the tank he noticed a leak and a garage smelling like gas

From the damage to the clear coat it’s obvious the prior owner had this issue for a while, of course this was all hidden under the tank console. My guess is he never topped the tank off to prevent a lap full of gas.

At some point in history someone decided to severely over torque the screws holding the fuel trap door in place. This stripped out several of the threads in the tank and destroyed the gasket.

Last two pics are a straight edge along the gasket/tank mating area and you see in one the gaps due to over torque deforming the tank lip.

A little gentle “body work” on the tank lip to make sure the new gasket seats, helicoils in stripped threads and all new screws should keep the new owner from a lap full of fuel
