Well, this is a first. 2010 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Fuel gauge was off by roughly 1/4 tank. So I went in to replace the unit figuring the sensor is just going bad or came apart. I found that the whole unit had came apart in the tank and the rods and springs were rolling around in the bottom.

We are all bound to have a fluid leak now and again, sometimes minor, sometimes not so much. A few drops on the garage floor might not seem like much, but often times they are much more severe when the pieces of the drivetrain are in action! Here is an example of a transfer case that ran low on fluid. I'm honestly surprised it didn't "gr***de". I have seen them completely blow apart taking out both driveshafts, the wiring harness, and parts of the transmission housing. At a minimum, take a second to crawl under there to find the source, or contact me! I'm happy to help. Safe travels!

Are you hearing a light tick on your vehicle that wasn't there before? In some cases it could be something fairly minor like noisy injectors, or even just a little low on oil. It could also be a failing lifter or rocker arm. It is important to address it as soon as possible, or it can turn into a camshaft, lifter, pushrod AND rocker replacement. This is a severely failed lifter that damaged the camshaft requiring a replacement. A quick diagnostic here at C & M could save you big time, just give me a call!

This customer had a breakdown going from the east coast to the west coast. 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio with 62,584 miles on it. It's getting a used lower mileage engine swap. OUCH! If you have lights come on that you havent seen before, it's always a safe bet to pull over as soon as possible and shut the car down until you have an idea of the issue. This customer lost coolant, continued driving and severely overheated the engine.
