Vehicles are getting more complex and here is an example of that. Starter is under the intake manifold. Kinda crazy if you ask me. Had a couple wasp nest hidden in there also. We use compressed air to remove debris before removal of intake but they were hiding deep in there.

This is a throttle body which took the place of a carburetor and most cars have these and is helps regulate air to the engine. Unfortunately when they get dirty as this one is it greatly affects gas mileage. We at Greg’s Automotive preform what’s known as an BG air fuel induction service to clean this and other internal components to remove harmful carbon deposits. It’s a life saver.
