The team and I are very proud to now be a part of Collision Safety Consultants of Oklahoma. Here at Bobs We strive to produce perfect repairs on every vehicle we touch. It’s more of a passion than a living for us. Unfortunately that’s not the case with most other collision centers. Todays vehicle have evolved so much in the past few years regarding safety. All motor manufactures have done an amazing job in producing vehicles that now have tremendous capabilities. From thinking,taking action, to impact protection with little,to no input from driver anymore well...my hat is off to the engineers. I could go on and on.... my point is, there still will be accidents. That’s where you,”the people”need to be educated now more than ever. You don’t just let anyone fix these cars. If a tech working on this vehicle does not hold current mech and structural certifications approved for that specific make....they could find themselves before a judge, defending their ignorance in a fatality case because.... “he done been fixin cars fur 20 years”! . ... sorry but that means nothing now. Safety systems only work if they are perfectly repaired,installed,and calibrated. And that only is possible if the manufacturer approves of said repair.
So anyways.... the few shops that follow the rules and care about people’s lives like us, keep it goin!! For all the rest of the butchers following orders from insurance companies, that know nothing about putting vehicles back to pre wreck condition, nor care about lives....we may see you soon.
