🚧 Work begins next week on major safety and traffic flow improvements along KY 461 and U.S. 25 in Mount Vernon
Crews will begin construction next week on KY 461 between U.S. 150 and U.S. 25 clearing trees/brush, utility work, and pavement prep
Speed limits reduced to 45 mph in the work zone
Motorists are urged to use caution, especially near the entrance to Rockcastle County High School.
These upgrades will improve safety, reduce congestion, and make travel more efficient for local residents and visitors heading to destinations like Lake Cumberland.
