We have FREE parking for the Brockport Arts Festival this weekend. Merrymakers can park in front of garage doors around both buildings as well as block in the row of Lifetime Assistance buses and work vans out back.

Today is a bittersweet day. Today is Miss Ella Waite’s last day as she completed her year long internship with us. She graduates from Brockport High School in a few weeks. This fall she starts at Golisano Institute for Business. We are very proud of her and will miss her.

Dad wouldn’t let us get a shop dog but we did talk him into a police K9. 🐾

Just in case you missed it, here is K9 “Sammy!”

Sammy is a one year old Dutch Shepherd purchased through Upstate K9. Sammy is a dual-purpose K9, trained in patrol / tracking and explosives detection.

Sammy was purchased through funding from local donors such as Crime Stoppers, Northside Service and other generous private citizens over the years.

Dr. Orr and staff at the Animal Clinic of East Avenue continue to play an integral role in the continuation of BPD’s K9 Unit, supplying food and medical care.

The Brockport Police thank all who have been involved with the support of our specialized units!

After 9 years of dedicated service, our local Police K9 Brock is retiring. We’re so grateful for his hard work and loyalty in keeping our community safe.
