A motorcycle doesn’t magically go where you look, but riders should absolutely look where they want the motorcycle to go.

When approaching a turn, make sure you physically turn your head, focus on where you want to go, and let the bike work with you.

It’s been a while since we’ve introduced ourselves, so we thought it was time. We’re Josh and Alyssa, the family behind Mindshift Motorcycle Training! 😊

It’s hard to believe we’ve owned the business for two years already. We’ve learned so much, made plenty of mistakes, celebrated lots of wins, and honestly had a blast doing it. We couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who’s supported us along the way.

Since taking over, we’ve added two new classes—the BRC2 for experienced riders and our 3-Wheel course. It’s been exciting to continue growing and offer more opportunities for riders of all experience levels.

If you’ve ever called, emailed, or messaged us, chances are you’ve talked to me (Alyssa). I handle most of the office work, scheduling, and phone calls. Josh is the guy keeping the motorcycles running, maintaining the range, and coaching classes.

Outside of Mindshift, our biggest job is being parents to our four boys. I homeschool them, and now that Josh is full-time with Mindshift, we’ve been able to spend so much more time together as a family. We love traveling, hiking, and, of course, getting out for a ride whenever we can.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing coaching team. This year we’ve been fortunate enough to grow our team, and we truly couldn’t do this without them. Their passion for teaching, dedication to our students, and willingness to give up their weekends to help others learn to ride safely is something we never take for granted. We are incredibly thankful for each one of them!

Running a family business has been one of the biggest adventures we’ve ever taken, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has trusted us with their motorcycle training. Every class registration, every recommendation, every review, and every kind word helps support not only our family but our incredible coaching team as well. It truly means the world to us.

Whether you’ve already taken a class with us or you’re thinking about signing up for your first one, thank you for being part of this journey. We can’t wait to meet even more of you!
