Problem solved motor is back in and runs very well. Oil pressure is back to normal. Did install new bearings just because it was already torn down to that point.

Got a cool little race truck in for bearing check and oil pump replacement. Oil pressure was dropping off at higher rpm's. Found the issue chevy pick up tubes are just pressed in so this is not an uncommon issue on these. Becomes alot more prevalent when you run them hard. Cool little truck to have in the shop.

Put new shocks on and pick the car back up with the lift, and one of the bolts breaks so it all has to come back apart. Just another day but it will be right before it leaves the shop.
