Little update on the LJ.

Chassis is close to done, getting some love currently with some new 5.13 gears and freshening up the lockers.

Lines and electrical is all done and ran.

Now to start on the tub for some rust prevention and some other small goodies.

Little more progress on our little LJ build.

Rear axle is now fully burned in for all our link mounts utilizing the truss. Just awaiting some more mounts for our bump stops, limit straps and sway bar. Some before and after shots of the rear axle are coming, this JK44 came in here looking like it was at the bottom of Atlantis, full of rust! Got it all reconditioned and ready for some wheeling!

Had to also trim and fill the rear crossmember to fix some of our clearance issues.

Finally getting back on track to moving some builds along.

LJ in for the long arm treatment.

This Jeep had a lot of twist and turns along the way, but nothing we can’t handle. New frame, we fully shaved off old brackets, painted, and added these absolute units of coilover towers. Time to get this beauty finished up and out so Bob’s mom can ride in style!

So much work coming down the pipeline and I can’t wait to show it all! I already need a bigger workspace!

RIP to the legend. You were an inspiration to so many people and a huge icon to me. Been watching and following along Ken’s career since early 2007 and it’s still unbelievable to me to hear he’s gone.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Block and family. The world lost a motorsports legend today.

Using quality parts from made quick work of this coil correction job for .

Stock TJ rear coil buckets are great for non-lifted vehicles but once you add bigger springs, and long arms such as this long arm kit, the springs will tend to bow out. As you can see from the before and after, this kit not only corrects the angle to make the spring sit where it should but also looks great and adds some added support to the frame.

In this case we also opted for the 1”stretch option that you can do with this kit.

This will also work with short arm kits utilizing the factory rear track bar mount on the frame.
