This year, Colorado celebrates 150 years of statehood, and the official theme—"The Story of Us"—invites us to reflect on the people, places, and events that shaped the Colorado we know today.🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲

At Steelworks Center of the West, we believe one of the most powerful chapters in that story was written right here in Pueblo.

For generations, Colorado Fuel & Iron (CF&I)p Cz helped build not only Colorado's economy, but its communities. Thousands of men and women from across the globe came to southeastern Colorado seeking opportunity. They brought with them their languages, traditions, skills, hopes, and dreams. Together, they forged more than steel, they forged neighborhoods, families, lifelong friendships, and a community that became known around the world as Colorado's Steel City.

The rails that connected the West, the steel that built America's bridges and skyscrapers, and the innovations that transformed industry all began with people, workers whose determination and resilience helped shape both Pueblo and Colorado.

Their story is our story.

As we celebrate Colorado's 150th Anniversary, we honor the generations of steelworkers, miners, immigrants, veterans, families, and community members whose contributions continue to inspire us today.

Because The Story of Us isn't just about where we've been—it's about preserving these stories so future generations understand the people who built Colorado.

YARD MANAGER – HEAVY INDUSTRIAL OUTDOOR STORAGE

Brighton, Colorado

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Yard Manager to oversee daily operations at our secure heavy industrial outdoor storage facility in Brighton, Colorado.

Responsibilities:
• Open and inspect yard daily
• Monitor gate access and security systems
• Assist customers and tenants
• Coordinate parking for trucks, trailers, containers, equipment, RVs, and fleets
• Conduct routine property inspections
• Ensure yard remains clean, organized, and professional
• Coordinate maintenance, snow removal, grading, and repairs as needed
• Enforce lease agreements and site rules
• Maintain records, reports, and customer communications
• Work independently and solve problems quickly

Qualifications:
• Experience in industrial storage, trucking, construction, logistics, fleet management, or property management preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform light maintenance
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Basic computer and smartphone skills
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
