Billet Aluminum 6061 Front cover for an external oil pump for your GEN III Hemi Engine. Will fit any Hellcat, Redeye, Demon, or Drag Pak Engine.

Why did we develop this kit? When developing engines for the Factory Stock Showdown Class we noticed the gear rotor pump gives out around 8500 RPM and would start to cavitate causing increased bearing wear and potential catastrophic engine failure. to solve this problem we went to a 50% driven external oil pump that would perform much better at high RPM and allow us to use a lower oil pressure at lower RPM.

We also wanted to solve issues with engine swap time. To solve this issue, we made -16 ORB water inlet and a -16 ORB water Outlet. This will allow the customer to put a quick connect style fitting on or a traditional AN fitting and hose to run coolant lines.

One more feature is a machined in timing pointer at #1 TDC. This has always been a major issue with using the stock style front cover.

Nearly finished with the external oil pump design for GEN 3 Hemi! Features a light weight front cover at 6 lbs! Cam access and improved water cooling ports with 16 ORB fittings. Will come with entire Supercharger belt drive system (idlers and tensioner) 12 rib belt, Auto Verdi pump driven at 50%. Stay tuned for testing and pricing!

Day two at BES, we tested the MSD Pro 600 and headers. We learned a little on both items and opened up some questions as well. This engine is not a record setter but it can hang with the top of the pack.

Huge thanks to for all the coaching and mentoring through the project. It is great to lean on and challenge our engineering principles.

Chris Potter at your insights and knowledge was invaluable as I never would have thought the 8320 spring would turn 10000 RPM. Can wait to try the next bump stick!

Now time to put this engine “sublime” into SalvageCat to see work through the chassis development before we put our competition package in for the first race.

Day 1 at BES Racing Engines was a great success. Our Sublime engine is putting in the work and showing we have a competitive package. We have a few more parts to test tomorrow.
