This is a full-time, on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic at Bridgeport Equipment Service, located in Bridgeport, TX. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting engines, identifying problems, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance checks. Qualifications:

● Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment

● Excellent attention to detail and safety protocols

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous

● Vocational training or certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred

Diesel Mechanic

This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will also be responsible for performing vehicle and equipment maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

● Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment skills
● Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance skills
● Experience in performing preventive maintenance
● Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
● Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
● Ability to work well in a team environment
● Excellent communication and organizational skills
● Experience in the automotive or equipment industry is a plus
● ASE certification or other relevant certifications are a plus
● Must Provide Own Tools

Deliver parts to the designated location and run errands. Put away parts, count inventory and clean in your down time.
