We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous maintenance experience and knowledge in maintenance repairs
• Enjoys taking pride in seeing a job through to completion
• Enjoys a career with different problems to solve during the day
• Enjoys interacting with residents while performing maintenance duties in their homes
The position is accountable for identifying problems, completing service requests and making repairs in accordance with operating and safety standards.

Our Maintenance Technician is a critical member of our team who many times can solve a problem for our residents to keep them happy and satisfied by ensuring requests and repairs are made in a reliable, timely and safe manner. The person in this career will enjoy and have a sense of personal fulfillment from knowing they are helping to create an exceptional home experience for our residents!

Position Requirements:
1. Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a diverse group of people.
2. High School or equivalent education with 1 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
3. A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
• Sheetrock Repair (mudding, taping, floating, texturing, etc.)
• Electrical Knowledge
• Painting (exterior and interior)
• Appliance Repair Knowledge
• Carpenter Knowledge
• Plumbing Knowledge
• Skirting Knowledge
• Roofing Knowledge
• Flooring (carpet laying, changing rotten wood flooring, and laying linoleum)
• in lieu of license must have at least 3 years hands-on experience in either HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing
5. Six months of experience in Maintenance or must have at least 1 year outside experience in maintenance.
6. Ability to operate common office equipment, basic computer skills and mobile devices.
7. Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and meet company insurability requirements.
8. Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
