My forgotten e28 project I bought January of 2016. It’s been sitting for 10 years. Before I bought it, it was sitting for 8 years. I think it’s going to be time to get on this BMW. Two owners prior to me. First owner took European delivery in 1986 with the papers to prove it. Second owner bought it in 1989. I got it 2016. I’ve never seen a glass sunroof in any of these before which is what really intrigued me about this car. What would you do with it if this was your project? Before and after 2003 BMW Z4 headlight restoration. This one I started with 600 grit, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000 then polished out and coated. This one came out super nice.

Another month and hopefully this snow will melt and I can focus on getting the e21 roadworthy again. I miss driving this...

This was a beautifully restored 280z with early bumpers, and just clean all around. Probably my favorite car of the whole@sale just because my first car was a blue with white interior 75 280z and it brought back many memories.

I really wish I had the time to put into this e12 I once picked up from a NJ CCA member. 1978 BMW e12 with a manual transmission. The brake and fuel lines were corroded. There were some spots of rust as well but very savable. I also believe the fuel pump was bad. I think I wound up selling it because I had too many projects at once and unfortunately something had to go. I hope the buyer I sold it to did what I didn’t have time to do. I’d love to see where it’s at now.

Here is another one of the many BMW’s I owned, 1984 318i with a manual transmission. I purchased this off of a young guy who didn’t have the know how to fix the car. It wasn’t running and I could see it was highly neglected but the body and interior were in great shape. Little did I know exactly what the repairs this thing required. First I step, get it running. Both fuel pumps had to be replaced. The top of the tank was damaged by inexperienced and shoddy repairs so I had to replace that. Then the injectors had to be replaced because two of them were glued. Then I did a full tune up for good measure as well as replace all the rubber lines. The entire braking system had to be replaced because someone put non brake fluid in the system. Calipers, wheel cylinders, rubber brake lines, master cylinder etc. Finally it was a reliable running, driving and stopping vehicle. It became a daily driver for me. Then I decided to try auto crossing with it, and by the end of the day, the head gasket blew. So off came the head and that had to be taken care off. I owed this for almost two years and wound up selling it to another member right around 2009. I wonder if this car is still on the road?
