⛈Weather Update⛈
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Tuesday afternoon and evening for much of the state. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 2 PM Tuesday through 12 AM Wednesday for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect until 2 AM Wednesday for coastal waters from Ocean County to Cape May County.
Impacts to New Jersey
Heavy rain Tuesday creates the potential for localized flooding in urban areas, roadways, places with poor drainage, small creeks and streams, and areas where rainfall is heaviest. Gusty winds may damage trees and impact power lines. Monitor local forecasts today for additional severe weather advisories in your area.

🚗If your area is prone to flooding take precautions such as moving cars to higher ground.
🚧Turn Around, Don’t Drown! Even six inches of fast moving floodwater can knock you off your feet, and a depth of two feet will float your car! Never try to walk, bike or drive through flooded areas. Water may be deeper than you think!
🚫Do not attempt to drive over a flooded road. Obey traffic barriers. STOP! Turn around and go another way.
