I think we’ve seen enough of these hitting markers accidents! We need better reflective or lit up markers. Years ago they changed the floating markers to piling or steel pipe and it’s been killing people ever since.
Time to re-engineer these things.

Two children under 10 died Sunday night after a boat in Barnegat Bay crashed into a channel marker, New Jersey State Police said.
